Description

“A design dating from 2010. It’s grown taller but stands on the same size of box and works in the same way. A strong magnet rotates below the lid of the box under the tip of the trunk which contains a smaller magnet. Thus the trunk tip describes a circle. Nice wood from a wardrobe. It’s called ‘An Elephant Thinking About Inventing the Wheel’ even though the wheel was invented ages ago. Possibly it’s more likely to be thinking about the barbaric spelling of the word ‘Doughnut’ which has infected us from overseas. ” P. Spooner
