A new one-off piece from Paul Spooner
‘When I put two bouncing cats side by side and set them off I noticed that because they oscillate at slightly different frequencies they are sometimes together at the top of their travel, while at other times one is up and the other is down. When they are 180 degrees out of phase it seems as if the cats are trying very hard to race each other. When they are in phase (at 0º), the race seems less urgent’
