The Frog Princess by Paul Spooner

The Frog Princess by Paul SpoonerThis is an elaboration of the four-faced mechanism. This time a door opens in the body to reveal a cylinder housing the flies.

215 H x 120 W X 60 D

One Only. SOLD

£650 (excl. VAT)

“I started making this thing using one of the boxes I had ready for the other four-faced machines but I found that I couldn’t get enough movement in the door to reveal the fly satisfactorily. I made a slightly bigger box to accommodate the cam mechanism, then I found I had to make a new body for the frog. In the end only the head remains from the original effort. Now I’ve got all these parts left over. I’ll find a use for most of them.”
