From the original CMT News description in 1993: “The Just Married symbolism in this Newstead piece is so overt it must be conscious. But wait, in this depiction the wings are made of brass. And the title, Icarus Flies Undone. Look closer – his willy is loose. flappy-flappy. sun-sway, sun-sway.”

Second Hand – Originally purchased at Cabaret Mechanical Theatre, Covent Garden, London.

Good repaired condition. The sun was missing and has been replaced based on the original pattern.

Designed by Keith Newstead – Made by The Girls
