We are thrilled to bring you this delightful paper automaton model kit. This flying dragon and its mechanism, made entirely from paper, is a unique design by Mary-Ann Toop.

Cut out and glue the pieces together following the instructions and watch in amazement as your creation turns into a fully working automaton. Then turn the handle and watch your dragon come to life and fly!

Each component and illustration has been hand drawn and finished with watercolours before being scanned at high resolution for printing. The end result is a beautiful hand painted dragon flying over its natural habitat.

The kit, comprising of four high quality printed card sheets plus a fully illustrated 4-page instruction booklet, has been produced using 100% recycled paper and is packaged in a fully biodegradable display bag.

The completed automaton is approximately 25cm tall, has a 24cm wing span and is 24cm from nose to tail.

To complete this kit you will need:

• Scissors

• Paper glue (You can use normal PVA but tacky PVA glue or white wood glue is faster)

• A craft knife (adults only!)

• Something pointed for scoring the fold lines

• Ruler

Recommended for children aged 10+ and for those still a child at heart.
