A practical pegboard kit for testing mechanisms and movements while experimenting with automata.

The kit consists of over 70 individual parts and allows you to demonstrate and experiment with levers, cranks, cams, gears, pulleys and ratchets as shown in the design progress videos. The mechanisms you can build are all detailed in our book Cabaret Mechanical Movement.

To decorate and build upon the mechanisms you will need to find:

  • Masking tape or hot glue gun
  • Scissors or craft knife
  • Your favourite materials for making such as card, magazine photos and other recycling materials
  • You will need wood glue to construct the pulleys
