Welcome to our Virtual Exhibitions. If you cannot visit us in the real world then this is the next best thing. We currently have three exhibitions online. They bring the machines alive on your screen.

Paul Spooner’s Virtual Exhibition opened on November 20th 2008 in celebration of Paul Spooner’s 60th birthday. There are 9 exhibits. 5 are accompanied by a behind the scenes video. There’s also a chance to see a selection of pages from Spooner’s sketchbook.


virtual exhibition 2This exhibition opened in February 2001 and features the work of Carlos Zapata. There are 9 pieces, all animated with 2 as spinnable 360 degree “object movies”. Flash required.


virtual exhibition 1Our first virtual show opened in June 1999 and features the work of 4 different artists. 10 pieces are featured as animations and spinnable 360 degree “object movies”. QuickTime 3 (or higher recommended but there’s also a ‘no plugin’ version.

Our mission is to promote engineering and creativity through workshops, exhibitions and automata kits.

As a Community Interest Company all profits go toward this valuable work.
