As London celebrates an historic summer, Space Station Sixty-Five are delighted to host a free exhibition of contemporary automata from Cabaret Mechanical Theatre, at their original artist-run space in East Dulwich. Come along and press the buttons and bring these ingenious machines to life. Watch the performers in Ron Fuller’s tiny mechanical circus, marvel at Keith Newstead’s lifelike brassy peacock, and see many of Paul Spooner’s humorous creations including the man who eats his own weight in spaghetti – in the bath.

Hi, are you still inviting people to show off their automata tomorrow, Sue mentioned this to me when I came in and spoke to her.
If so what time does it start and when does it finish?
admin says:
Dear Leon,
Thanks for your comment about the planned evening.
This has now been postponed until later in the autumn.
We are having a second Exhibition at SS65, 27th Sept to 6th Jan. More details will be announced shortly on our website.

I will be in London Sept 1. and hope to come by the exhibit. Any automata for sale there? I picked up some pieces from the OXO Wharf exhibition some years ago that are much loved and admired.
admin says:
Hi Rajiv, Yes we have some automata for sale in the gallery.
Vicki bet says:
We may come along on Friday – we are taking a boat trip to Greenwich from Westminster and would like something to do with 5 kids aged 3 to 7. Is it too far from the boat drop off? Thanks!
admin says:
Hello Vicki, The exhibition is in East Dulwich which is not very near to Greenwich, you would need to get public transport from there.
Jo Pearce says:
